亦作“喫惊”。1.惊骇；惊惶。《水浒传》第二六回：“ 武松 道：‘高邻休怪，不必喫惊。’”《二刻拍案惊奇》卷十一：“ 满生 见説，心下喫惊，半晌作声不得。”
(2).指惊讶。 巴金 《春天里的秋天》十八：“‘你的父亲不是很讨厌外省人吗？’我吃惊地问。”
