    不过在别的地方,并不一定是“光棍节”,比如在香港。香港这一天是“夫妻节”,该节由香港戴维城文化中心总监吴振智牧师于2000年1月倡议创立。11月11日乃取意四个1,取其“一夫一妻,一生一世”之意。

    2008年:第七届于11月11日在香港文化中心露天广场C区举行“夫妻节”,主题为“恩爱传承;全城恩爱”。

    2009年:“谷中百合花”是第八届“夫妻节11.11”的主题,透过赏花篇,惜花篇,栽花篇,采花篇,献花篇及神婚篇等程序,展现神与人,夫妻之互相吸引,专一倾爱,肯定美满婚姻乃人生重大成就,鼓励全城夫妻共庆婚龄增长,互勉爱情长跑,为下一代建立婚姻楷模。

    2010年:第九届香港夫妻节于11月11日在香港文化中心露天广场C区举行,主题为“爱您一世”,纽约、温哥华及维多利亚三市也采用相同主题,以示合一。

    在美国的纽约市及加拿大的温哥华市也有教会及机构响应,于2008年加盟举行“夫妻节”。至2010年,又有加拿大维多利亚市教会宣布举行第一届维多利亚“夫妻节”。
